Falling in love with Japanese styled breakfast buffets
Healthy fibre-ful dishes and even mackerel~
Today we'll be heading to Mt. Fuji!
The pride of all Japanese people.
The journey was quite long so we pulled over at a resting place on the expressway
and man, I was impressed yet again by the facilities
There was also a food market, convenience store and a foodcourt
Convenience store
Coffee Lover's dream~ a machine that grinds coffee beans on the spot
even shows you the entire process grinding process while you wait for it
TADAAA. large cup. expect nothing less.
I think we can use some photocopying machines at every 7-11/Cheers etc. too
ahhh every man's favourite hangout.. AV magazines turned down my male friends requests to buy back for them WAIT LONG LONG
beautiful resting spot on the highway
First sighting of Mt.Fuji
Stop #1: Oshino Hakkai - famous village near Mt. Fuji
Savoury Chilled Tofu with Miso Paste - delicious!!
Green Tea Pancakes with chunky red bean fillings - love the natural "non-man made" kinda taste strong tea flavour and it wasn't crazily sweet like the red bean pastes in Singapore
Large variety of marinated vegetables/beans/mushrooms etc.
all made with water from Mt. Fuji
View from the hot spring hotel bedroom ^^
Traditional Tatami Bedroom
wore a kimono for the first time!
nearly tripped and fell on my face a few times
it's really hard to walk in! have to take really small dainty steps
no wonder Japanese ladies are so demure
I'm too non-lady like D:
Visited the hot springs in the hotel
indoor hot spring
outdoor!
Dinner~
wahhhh~~~ 9600Yen okay wasn't exactly the best tasting sashimi ever probably just corporate tie-up tactic between the tour agency & hotel
Group Shot with my lovely tour mates ^^
ps. deciding between nus fass & ntu accountancy at the moment
headache ah~
